ELDER RESPONSE: I know this is hard for you, Azi. As I told you, it would be in your best interest to concentrate on your studies so that you can be successful. You want to be proud of yourself.

Take the time to heal from this and don't get involved with anyone else too soon. Rebound relationships seldom work out. When you think you've healed, you can begin to date, casually. Take your time getting to know a guy, his friends, and his family.

While you're healing, give some thought to what traits and qualities a guy should have before you allow him in your life. When you know what your values and standards are, don't lower them for anyone. You must know yourself before you try to know someone else and expect him to know you. Know what your expectations are and if a guy is unwilling or unable to live up to them, don't get involved with him. Know what's expected of you and decide if you can live up to those expectations. You deserve the best that life has to offer, Azi. Don't ever settle for less than you deserve.
